Belladonna. For obstruction of intestines, the treatment should be started with this remedy.

Opium. Spasmodic retention of faeces in small intestines. Abdomen hard, bloated, tympanitis. During colic urging to stool and discharge of hard faeces.

Plumbum. Intestines filled with hard faeces, convolutions could be distinctly felt and seen.

Causticum. Incarceration of flatus, with bard faeces.

Lachesis. Abdomen tympanitis, sensitive, painful, cannot bear anything around waist.
