Opium. From inhaling carbonic add gas; in newborn children when Ant. Tart, fails. Pulse imperceptible, face purple.
Bovista. Asphyxia due to charcoal gas.
Carboneum Sal. When due to inhaling coal gas or from alcohol.
Cochlearia. Apparent apoplectic death, after haemorrhage from lungs and nose (whooping cough in a child)
China. In new—born children after great loss of blood by the mother or if infant is pale.
