Nux Vomica. Hiccough with indigestion, vomiting and diarrhoea.

Ratanhia. Violent hiccough which comes soon after eating especially if he had been without food for a long time Attacks are preceded by gas in stomach or abdomen which are distended.

Cocculus Ind. Hiccough with spasms of diaphragm.
Hyoscyamus. Hiccough occurring after operation of the abdomen.
Teucrium. In jerking hiccough after nursing.
China off. Hiccough after abuse of quinine. Hiccough causing headache.
Ammon. Mur. Hiccough with stitches in the chest and empty- gnawing sensation in stomach after a full meal.
Ranunculus B. Hiccough after alcoholic drinks. Also of drunkards. Hiccough, violent and convulsive with frequent eructation’s.
Natrum Mur. For violent hiccough, acute or chronic, especially when due to overdosing of quinine. Cyclamen. Hiccough during pregnancy with or without morning sickness (vomiting). Hiccough after eating. Stramonium. Very violent hiccough with flow of watery saliva after hot drinks.
Veratrum Alb. Hiccough after hot drinks.
Arsenic Alb. Hiccough after cold drink.
Pulsatilla. Hiccough after cold drinks or after smoking.
Cajuputum. >> Hiccough coming on slightest provocation. Tongue feels swollen. Stricture of the Acid Sulph. >> oesophagus.
