Ammon. Mur. Hiccough with stitches in the chest and empty- gnawing sensation in stomach after a full meal.

Ranunculus B. Hiccough after alcoholic drinks. Also of drunkards. Hiccough, violent and convulsive with frequent eructation’s.

Natrum Mur. For violent hiccough, acute or chronic, especially when due to overdosing of quinine.

Stramonium. Very violent hiccough with flow of watery saliva after hot drinks.

Veratrum Alb. Hiccough after hot drinks.

Arsenic Alb. Hiccough after cold drink.

Pulsatilla. Hiccough after cold drinks or after smoking.

Cajuputum. >> Hiccough coming on slightest provocation. Tongue feels swollen. Stricture of the Acid Sulph. >> oesophagus.

Veratrum Vir. Content hiccough, painful with spasms of upper end of oesophagus.
